Our Mission and Vision

Our mission is to support our local partners in predefined areas for a certain number of years with the goal of empowering their skills and ensuring resources. This support aims to enable our partners to independently perform the acquired skills and techniques after the project has ended. Therefore, on-site visits, combined with meticulous planning of the project plan and goals, as well as ongoing dialogue between our local partners and us, are crucial.

Communication at eye level is the key to long-lasting, sustainable, and cost-effective humanitarian work where both partners benefit and learn from each other. By the end of the project’s timeframe, the predefined goals should have been fulfilled successfully.

To achieve these objectives, we mainly focus on short-term visits lasting between one to three weeks. These visits involve different, subspecialized multidisciplinary teams to ensure maximum benefit while minimizing disruption to the local work schedule. Our team members, who are highly dedicated and skilled professionals, often use their holidays and free time to participate in these on-site visits, demonstrating their commitment to the cause.

Moreover, we strive to provide a platform for our local partners to rotate to specialized hospitals and departments in Germany and Austria. This ensures that the professional and cultural exchange is mutual, fostering a deeper understanding and collaboration between all parties involved. We believe that such exchanges enrich the experience and expertise of everyone involved, leading to improved outcomes and stronger partnerships.
