Aquiring Equipment

Medical Support in Partnership is committed to acquiring urgently needed and sustainable equipment for our international partners to ensure long-lasting efficacy and personalized humanitarian aid. The donated equipment aims to improve the local situation, support the implementation of new techniques, and ensure donated money is used effectively. Therefore, we first make an on-site visit to analyze the current needs and coordinate with our local partners before purchasing any equipment.

During these visits, we assess the local infrastructure, available resources, and specific needs of healthcare facilities. This analysis helps us understand the gaps and challenges faced by our partners and make informed decisions about the required equipment. We also discuss with local healthcare professionals to gain insights into their experiences and preferences.

Sometimes, we are supported by industry or international companies that contribute advanced medical technologies and expertise. Other times, the funds for equipment come from donations such as crowdfunding, private donations, and grants. These diverse funding sources enable us to respond flexibly to our partners’ needs.

Once acquired, we don’t just deliver the equipment; we provide comprehensive training to local staff on its use and maintenance. This hands-on training ensures healthcare providers can integrate the new equipment into their routines, maximizing its impact. Additionally, we establish follow-up mechanisms to monitor usage and effectiveness, offering ongoing support.

Our commitment to transparency is reflected in our meticulous documentation of all donations and expenditures. We regularly update our donors and partners on our progress and outcomes, fostering trust and continued support from all involved parties.
